Default chrome inner primary cover. Does it look good or not?

I want a a chrome inner primary but dont want to spend the money to get the chrome inner. I was wondering if the kuryaken cover looked decent or does it look cheap? Anybody have any pics?

I've seen it and thought it looked kinda cheesy. I'd either go all the way or not at all.

I have a few friends who have the cover, and I don't lke them. I think there is a balance between chrome and a black motor. Too much chrome makes the bike look gaudy and makes the chrome look less noticable. Just my opinion.

I sold a ton of these Kury covers when I worked at the dealership. Lots of guys liked them, personally they looked to me to be what they are, "stick on" chrome. If you want my advice, don't do it unless you do it right, but that's just me. When I see them it reminds me of the saying, "Champagne taste on a beer budget".

I have the chrome inner primary (not cover) on my ultra. Looks great...makes the primary look like 1 unit, as it should

The chrome inner primary is the biggest difference you can make by just adding one part (well, maybe a painted inner fairing).

I've heard the Kuryaken covers rattle and vibrate after awhile.

My inner primary started leaking and was replaced under warranty.......I just had to buy the part. Labor was already covered under the warranty.

Well said, that's where I stand as well.

A frined at wirk has the Kury cover and to me it just looks cheesy, he also complains it hits the left side exhaust pipe and he he can't get it to stop rattling.

IMO, the Kuryakyn cover(s) don't look bad at all. Of course the chrome inner looks better sitting flush without a lip but is this worth $200 more plus labor?
