WTF?!?! I resemble that remark!!! BUT, I'm heading to WallyWorld tomorrow anyway!! Every 2 to 3 months I ride down to GA. from my other home in PA., about 1650 miles round trip, usually on my Fat Boy and if this is the answer I don't give a damn what everybody thinks I'll be a spandex wearing fool!!!! Thanks Iceman!!

Old thread but have to chime in. Tried Under Armor yesterday on a 220 mile round trip BUT added additional miles cruising Vegas from 10AM to 3PM on a 108 deg day. Between noon day sun at Vegas and the Lake Mead/Hoover Dam area coming home it was HOT.

I am sold on the UA's, loved them. Going to go to Wally later and try the Starter Sta-Dri's to see if they work so I can afford to have several pair. Thanks OP!

Yup, we've been using bicycle shorts beneath Tour Master Vented riding pants for years.

No seams on the butt. No elastic from underwear.

We put this on top of a Corbin seat and ride 700-1000 mile in a day with no butt burn.

The issue with seats, I've found, is that soft seats hold you in one position, while the harder seats -- like Corbin -- permit a lot of movement while riding. So, nothing gets numb.

Nothing new, been wearing them for years. Been talked about on here several times. Little late on your theory, it is already a fact.

Besides the Under Armour I made a set of beads for hot weather, between the two that cured the issue.

i use the exact same beads (walmart) and use knock off underarmor shorts for long trips. i used the beads for the first time 3 weeks ago on a ride to michigan. let me put it this way: after the 500 mile ride there, i proceeded to take my 2 sisters and my mom on 3 seperate 30 mile rides.
