I just got a pair of compression shorts from Wal-Mart. Back in the sporting good section.

Under Armour is the name brand but it looks like CoolMaxx is the most expensive of the brands that have been mentioned, $44.95. The no seam design they have will make a bit of a difference, but I don't think it would be worth an extra $20. Under Armour cannot be purchased at Walmart. It will be at your local sporting goods store.

Thanks for the post, I purchased some Under Armor and just finished a 2500 trip last week without a day of burning. I also purchased the Under Armor socks as well and boot comfort was great.

I found it on www.sportsmansguide.com for $20.00 a pair. With all these riders going to get some maybe now would be a good time to buy stock....

I got Dri-Star brand at Wally World $12 each. Also bought a $9 set of seat beads and cut and re-tied them to fit front and rear plus up over the backrest, me and wife both real happy with the lack of butt burn!
Addied side effect of the beads is if you get caught in a sudden storm it can keep the seat of your pants dry since you are sitting up a bit off the seat itself.
