we are palnning a long trip and preparing to encouter rain. we have the harley trespasser half helmets. is this the part number for the face shield that you all talk about here.

I don't know about face shield for half helmet, but I ride in the rain at leas once a week. I have a 12" windshield on my Ultra and I just use a pair of safety glasses. I found by accident if you put ky jelley on them and wipe them off, the water wont stick. I ride 25 miles to work on the interstate every day. Just pretend it's snow, it's just as slippery.

You can also get a Bell flip up visor for a 1/2 helmet from motorcycle-superstore.com for $11.95. Haven't tried one myself yet, but I'm going to order one soon.

I bought the one from www.denniskirk.com item # 32-6643 for 26.95 its the Universal half helmet shield it works really well, got tired of having those bugs smack the tip of my nose, guess I could get a nose job, but I never thought it was that big to begin with.

I can't imagine what activity requires KY and safety glasses!
