Get the touring map book. It has locations and phone numbers of every dealer in the country. Just in case something happens to break.

Then ride it like you stole it.

I dunno about this reliability thing. Mine has just over 150k of trouble free miles. Of course I do maintain it very well. I would not hesitate to go cross country on Mine which is now 14 years old. You should be good to go on one as new as yours.

Happy and safe riding to you

Don't worry about it. Take your trip and have fun. If something does happen, get it fixed and move along. There is no way to guarantee you won't have any trouble with any machine, but the chances of it happening are not good enough to change your mind about the trip.

I just did a 1250 mile trip... 2 years 23K, and I would ride my 07 anywhere and wouldn't think twice about it. Great bike.

Funny the different impression we get from the same site. I seem to read a lot from people about the long trips they take and the high mileage of their bikes and I am thinking that Harley are one of the most reliable brands out there.

you've got more miles on the bike now, on the odometer right? and it hasn't given you trouble most likely. why would you be worried, it will probably last for another 2500 miles before it needs a total rebuild. just teasing you. it's gonna be just fine. heck, it's still a new bike. you don't need to be nervous, it's the ultimate touring bike. just check your tire pressure, oil, then gas it up and hit the road.

Don't believe 93% of the stuff you read here, ride that bike hard and take good care of it. You will go far.
