I recently installed a Sundowner seat (P/N 51617-99C). The saddle appears shorter than stock. The nose of the saddle does not go far enough forward to cover the cables that run under the center console. This is the second Sundowner I've tried and both fit the same. With the exception of a slightly lower saddle position, I really like the seat but don't care for the asthetics. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Sundowner solo on my 2004 Standard and there is a slight gap between the end of the console and the seat, but not enough to bother me. I also have a 2-up seat off of a RK Custom that covers the gap, but the Sundowner is overall a great looking and very comfortable seat. It was modified by Mean City Cycles and is even more comfy.
The gap is just that, a gap and there are enough wires running around the bike that a couple more being visible are no big deal.
