I've been hunting on craigs List with my son for, of all things, a dang crotch rocket. We have run across these same type of ad's. Unfortunatly, too many are saying they are service men/women. they bring up a few different shipping companys. One company they listed had a website (all in the UK) but when I searched BBB from the UK and in the US, I found nothing. Give me a break !! Even FedEx and UPS will have some complaint listed. I followed up on one with Ebay. Got a response the next morning. They stated that they DO NOT broker anything that is not posted on Ebay itself. Period !! Also, as the one person here showed, read the email very closely. You will see that the english is not what you or I would use and I don't care how educated a person might be. There is phrasing that we just don't typically use and it sticks out big time in these.
So,,run away from this NOW. There is no doubt this is a SCAM.

Of course it's a scam, just tell them you want to see the bike in person first and you will never here back from them.
The style of wordage they use sounds like a foriener trying to speak english.
Kinda like "me love you long time", you are about to get screwed dude and you will be the one bent over.

I saw a great deal like this a while ago & the emails read just like the ones you showed here - they had the serial # listed so i went to harley & they checked the history 4 me - the bike was sold in ny & this so-called military mans home was in maine - when i ased him about it he disappeared - this is a scam - don't be fooled - if it sounds to good to be true it probably is
