Well after our rental of a 09' Ultra 3 weeks ago in Vegas My wife and I have decided to take the plunge on a new 09' or 10' Ultra. We went too the local HD dealer and they have our next bike sitting there. A 09' Ultra in Flame blue pearl with ABS. This is our 1st color choice but who knows! The 1st step is selling our beloved road king, then wait to see for a month and see what the 10' have changed if any. If not we hope to find a great deal on a 09' Ultra. BTW what is a good deal on a 09' Ultra OTD? our tax here is 9%. I also have heard we get that tax back next year as some sort of stimulus? anybody know about that and how long it lasts? Any other thoughts apreciated.

as long as you make less then 125k a year 250k if joint you will get taxes back!!

 

all 09's in the touring family have the same motor and same frame
you can get 2 grand off any where

 

it's gonna be really odd when harley is doing like the late nite chevy commercials, everything must go, to make room for the 2010's . it's either they do that, or build a bigger warehouse and have a museum attached to it. cause the 2010's are probably getting crated and getting ready for shipment if not today, really soon. although i believe harley is going to reduce production on the 10's to a much lower level as the stores are saturated with 09's. several of the shops i've visited in the past month have had loaded showrooms and inventory in the warehouse as well. so it would only make sense to slash prices to make room, as they say. i have a friend with an 03 centennial or whatever it is, and he's likely to do something the same way as you. good luck.
