I just wanted to say that I recently installed a Corbin Dual Touring seat on my 09 Streetglide and love it, no more monkey butt. The stock HD SG seat looks good but is useless, I purchased a 08-09 Roadglide seat which was 100 times better and still looked good but still gave me monkey butt after an hour or two. So far the Corbin is awsome and looks good as well. I know they say its a love/hate relationship with Corbin but so far its awsome. I also know that Corbin customer service sucks and last year my neighbor was trying to get one for his 08 ultra and after three seats and how many weeks he finally got one that fit, but part of that was the bike design change in 08-09. I ordered mine from Jenny at Tri County Harley Davidson and received it in three weeks as well as a 20% discount from what the Corbin website shows. I will try to post pictures later if wanted. I am 6'2" and about 250lbs in case someone wants a size reference. I have a long trip planned the middle of July and will post another report after I get back.

seems like harley davidson in their wizardry has given us streetglide owners something that looks way too cool on the showroom floor, but in the real world actually sucks. the stock sg seat and the useless windscreen. i went with the roadglide seat that i got from a guy in the classifieds section of the forum and couldn't be happier. the corbin may be for later on, but man, the way the stitching on the roadglide seat matches up to the gas tank console, a piece of beauty indeed.

 

 

Ok guys sorry I did not have time to post the pictures ealier when I posted this thread and knew I would get flogged for it. Attached are a few pictures of the Corbin seat installed on my 09 SG from in my garage not the best pictures and the bike is filthy dirty as I spend the last two days riding on the central Oregon coast and it was parked right by the ocean last night in a gravel driveway, I will not have time to clean it until hopefully Tuesday. On another note the roadglide seat also work well and look great on the SG and give the passenger a pretty nice seat area without the big pillow look. I know a lot off guy's like the sundowner seat but I did not care for the look or how soft it still was for me.

I've been riding Corbins for years and they are my first choice if replacing the stock seat. That was a good deal from the dealer. I paid full price for my new Classic solo and Touring pillion and backrest. Dang it.
