Do you ride when it's 100+ out?

will do.
but more depends on what i am doing and what i will be doing after.
in the heat, i sweat. so if i have to do something afterwards where i sweaty person would not be appreciated, then i don't.
the combination of temperature, humidity, landscape (amazing how much cooler it is thru the shade) will all be deciding factors.

Do not ride in that kind of heat unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. And have yet to run across a reason to do so. I try to avoid the high heat as much as possible. Now I might leave out in day and it get hot as day goes by but I check to see what the extreme for the day is before I do that.
Have determined wife cannot ride when temp gets above 80 or so. It triggers a migraine headache and puts her to bed for a couple of days.

Like has been said before, if you live in Phoenix and can't handle 100+ temps, your riding season will be a short one. I'm perfectly fine until it get's over 110. Once it gets that hot we usually stop for water at least every 100 miles. I usually drink 2 bottles and dump a 3rd over my head at every stop.
I really don't understand the comments about how dressing correctly and riding in high temps is ridiculous. I don't see it any differently than gearing up for cold weather riding. I ride everyday so I just make sure I have what I need for the current conditions. The only time it really sucks is if I get caught in grid lock on the freeway on the way home from work. Sitting on the bike in dead stop traffic when it's 118 outside isn't much fun....but then again it's better than sitting in a cage IMHO.

Yep, that temp is nuttin for Las Vegas (although the older and fatter I get, I feel it more).
Equipped with:
* Neck Cooling Wrap (Same as vest but a bandanna version) - These go around the arteries in your neck and lower your core temp.
* Perforated Leather Gloves
* Mesh Jacket (keeps cool if you're moving, if you're riding in stop and go traffic - this sucks)
* Hydration Vest - soak in water and little crystal beads fill up and you wear it under your mesh jacket and over a cotton t-shirt) - Works like a radiator for a couple hours. Also, the Vest does NOT keep ya cool for 10 hours as advertised. It's more like 3.
* Under Armor Heat Gear long sleeved shirt (This works..I doubted it at first, but it does) - I don't wear this if I'm wearing the Hydration Vest and Jacket combo though.
* Moisture Wicking socks
* Moisture Wicking Underwear (Like Bike Shorts) aka "Panties" as someone else put it on another thread.
* Mesh ankle covering boots (You can feel the air go through them..it's nice).
* Under Armor Skull Cap - Keeps your head a consistent temp and "wicks" moisture.
Just bought some mesh pants yesterday too to wear shorts under but haven't tried them out yet. I assume will be like the jacket.

Just finished riding to and from OKC from Houston. Hot as hell 103 degrees in the shade at 13:00 and I would like to say my oil is HD syn in all areas and I use a oil cooler and my oil never got above 220 even stuck in traffic in dallas at 12 noon.
I didnt like the Club OKC not enough vendors only about 20.

Just don't expect much crash protection from the pants. They will shred like confetti if you slide down the road in them. After my experience I now prefer perforated leather.
