Do you ride when it's 100+ out?

I ride when I can. It's not always comfortable or pleasant, but it's nice to do more than commute. I work rotating shifts, and I recently got married. When I work nights, I can't ride. When I have the weekend off (with my wife), it's hard to get away, so if it's 100+ out, and I'm home alone, I'll be riding. I rode almost 400 miles yesterday, and it was HOT!

it's always hot in Elk Grove, I remember being there in March for a basketball game (1975) being from San Francisco -- it seemed like it was 200 degrees there -- our team lost -- the other team had some skinny tall dude by name of Bill Cartright

I'd rather ride in sub-freezing temps than 100+.
You can always put more on in the Winter to stay warm. You can only take off so much during the Summer before you get arrested.
Riding in 100+ temps is like riding inside a convection oven, or with heated blow dryers mounted to your bike constantly blowing on you.
There is simply no way to stay cool. "CoolER" maybe, but not COOL.
