Default HELP me paint my bike........

I'd like you guys to help me come up with a paint scheme for my Pewter Pearl Street Glide. I'd really like to leave the Pewter in the paint scheme for a number of reasons. One, I'd like to leave the painted inner fairing with Pod alone, it would greatly affect the cost otherwise, and two, I simply like the color. But what I'm after is mainly to utilize black as my base color and come up with a scheme which includes the Pewter Pearl and one other color. You know the easiest thing would be to shoot the black and incorporate the Pewter in a couple set's of flames but this time I'm thinking something other then flames because I've always used flames. Two other things I'm trying to avoid is your basic two tone paint job and because I'm a 49'er fan, silver and black ain't going to cut it if you know what I mean.

Well guy's, my bike's in your hands, throw some suggestions my way. thanks in advance.....

I would do ghost flames. Just a shade or two darker than the silver that is on there now. Something that catches the eye and makes people double take. Or electric blue flames would look pretty BA also. Like the blue on the 2000 honda civic SI

Flames are soooooooo....boring.

How about a metal ripping away effect....you could either have a pewter bike coming out of a black bike or vice versa....torn metal effects etc.

Flames are boring? C'mon......they are....well......HOT!!! I agree with one of the other posters....a ghost flame in blue, possibly red..anything can go on that pewter color. If you go with a House of Kolors...you can go with a Chameleon Pearl that changes from purple to blue etc. Check their site...very nice stuff.

Good luck

Check out the 2009 SE Roadglide in silver and black. I saw one at the dealer this weekend and thought it looked great.
