No problems here either, lots of rain, and even an occasional wash.

+1 on the high idle
Being left handed I would hold the throttle and turn the switch on my '08 SG with my left. I think I was adding throttle input without even realizing it. ( I'm guesing the ECM gets confused) Subsequent restarts netted a high idle... lesson learned

No problem on my 2008 Ultra in 14 months 19K miles. Plenty of rain and several washes.

No problems on my 08 SG. Only complant is you almost need 3 hands to shut down if your on an incline and trying to hold the brake without touching the throtle.

Mine wore out at 37,000 miles but still worked well enought to ride it at full speed to the dealer for replacement. The only reason I knew was the check engine light came on and the codes said it was bad. It ran fine other wise in "limited performance mode".

I hope the new one lasts longer.

I love the way it works and the fact that they added cruise control as standard because of it is a big plus.

If people have had problems after a rain storm or a wash, it must have been a coincidence. The units are sealed. Water should have no effect on them.

Don't let the TBW be a deciding factor in your purchase.

The wife's tri-glide has had no probs, but when I jump on it from my Ultra I notice a lag and slow response. Could be just me, but I like cables.
