Passing Lamp Socket, Tool, Thingy!!!
#51
Alright you shade tree Harley mechanics!
I’m looking for a socket that I can use to loosen the nuts on the passing lamps without cutting the wires. I’ve seen the socket the guys at the HD garage have that has a slot cut up the side in a spiral fashion to allow the socket to rotate with the wire sticking out the side of the socket.
Where can I buy such a socket?
I called the stealer (Cowboy HD) and they want the minimum ½ labor ($40) to slide my passing lamps forward ½”. Their parts department doesn’t sell Harley specific tools which I find odd.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
GG
