How about an O2 sensor socket? but all I see are 7/8"

O2 socket is exactly what it is - but in a 9/16" six point.
Is that not about the most stupid way to mount those lights?
I can point out many other ways it could have been done many times better!
I believe it's an intentional design to pull the customer back to the service department.

You can save the picture of the socket from the snapon site, and make your own with the dremmel. Make sure it's 9/16" and smooth the slot you cut in it, works fine. Just 2 or 3 clicks, rotate, frustrate, repeat...
break the wire and you are SOL.

I had an old 9/16 deep socket that I cut a slot in with my dremel. Worked like a charm.

I have the same problem. Going to make one as recommended above unless anyone has any new ideas.

Best idea is a long slot in a six point deep well socket.
