Smile Put Rush Mufflers on my Rinehart TD 2" header pipes

They sound good and lost the high raspy tones, I like the looks of them.
Wide choice of baffles available, I have the 2" in now.
Sounds quieter than the Rineharts probably because is has a lower tone to
it, not sure though.
Has better low end but the Rineharts have better high end performance.
They are th 2HS straight cut series

I have the same slipons on my Road Glide, but with the Jackpot 2" baffles. I like them a lot. They are only loud when I'm deep into the throttle. It gives me a nice medium between listening to the stereo and making my own music.

Good to know. I thought with the Rinehart TD's, you were stuck w/ their mufflers?

Default Rush 2HS series bolts right up

They have three styles and one has the end caps with a large variety of choices (2HS05)
Rush is the only one I know of making ones that fit the 2" Rinehart headers and bolts right on.

The rush mufflers will get louder with time(miles). The packing wears away. Mine
started getting louder aroud 5,000. By 10,000 they are a lot louder. Personally I
like it.

Do yourself a favor and go get a set of those Harley exhaust hanger covers, the chrome ones. They really clean up the back end. WARNING: You have to clearance them to fit with these mufflers. The opening will wear against the black metal bracket that is welded to the saddle bag support when you tighten it all down and cause an annoying squeak after a few miles. Ask me how I know this. The studs that are welded to the mufflers are a bit taller than stock and because of that, the covers don't sit all the way down to the muffler but it looks WAY better than no covers. Just my opinion.
