Buy some AVONs...lots of road repaving in this area...the machines that grind up the old pavement have been thru portions...I dont even slow down when entering them...they make tar snakes look like a picnic in the park...buy cheap tires and thats what you get...CHEAP TIRES...JMPO...YMMV..:>)

STOCK Dunflops suck..PERIOD...most people who dont realize/admit this have never ridden on Metzelers or AVONs...Metzelers were a vast improvement over the Dunflops....AVONS are way better than Metzelers IMPO....I really dont care what tire anyone runs but I recommend AVONs...oh yes,I own 51% of AVON stock...:>)

The 09 tires are junk, period! He has a 09 so the brace is not the issue. I have 2,500 miles on mine and both tires are cupped badly and both have had proper pressure all the time. Get some new tires and enjoy your ride!

when it's summer and the tar is hot, it's almost like goo under the surface. i just take care when having to ride over tar snakes or try to avoid them.

What I hate are the rain grooves in the fwy's out here in Ca. The whole bike seems to wobble.

maybe it's just me, but I think tar snakes are worse here in Wisconsin than ever before. they defiantly cause the water tight effect on your a$$ when both tires are in them.
