Default Considering which short windshield is for me

Help a brother out please. I'd like to go with a short, smoked windshield on my 07 EGC for around town riding. So far my options are the 6.5" model offered by the MOCO. On ebay I found a variety of sizes offered by bikersdelite in Illinois @ 1/2 to cost or less than the MOCO's offering. I also found on ebay a 7.5" VSTREAM offered by Sick Moto that costs a little less than the MOCO's shield. It looks a little wierd, but if it performs as they claim, it might be a good choice. Any experience with any or all of these items?

I would go with Fastaire. They are very reasonable on price and make a nice product. I have had a couple of different heights/tints from them and liked them all.

Here's another one to check out on e-bay.

Long Ride Windshields the seller is hydrosuperstore. I can highly recomend them.

They come in a lot of different tints and sizes.

I've got an 8" dark tint.

Clearview 6.5 recurve it acts like a 8.5 shield. I am 6.0 foot 34 inch inseem its on a 09 SG with a c-c solo seat. You can also ask for the blem shield saves you $20.00. When i got mine i looked for 20 min. and could not find the blem mark any where. They also have great customer service. when you call them leave a message they will call you back that day.

My 6.5 Clearview recurve works better than my 8.5 fastaire, used the 6.5 for a 2000 mile round trip to the Keys and the windshield is still on the bike. works great.

Rubbit, you & RYEDOGGRACING have the same equipment, and opinion of the 6.5 Clearview Recurve, which is the shield I'm most interested in. RYEDOG is 6' tall. How tall are you? I'm 5'9", and I want to either look thru or completely over the windshield. I don't like bobbing around trying to get a "clearview". While I know the experiences of others won't always aplly to me, it sure can't hurt for me to know what you guys know.

+1 on the fastaire.com shield. They were priced so I could buy 2!! I got a darksmoke 8" and a Black 8". The black is way cool but sucks in the rain. You can't duck behind it as you can't see thru it!
