I ride w/ a passenger everyonce in awhile and have the sundowner for this purpose.But mostly solo with c&c solo seat.I'd like to get the adj drivers backrest for when i use the sundowner but dont want to take it off and on.Can the hardware be left in place when i use my c&c solo seat.thanks

 

Mine couldn't. Put my new C&C on Monday and I had to remove the adjustable backrest mount.

Should of asked this originally.The adj. rider backrest i see wont work.But how about the non adjustable one(rider backrest kit).thanks

 

I believe the website says their seats won't accept any backrest mounts. You might check it or just give Chuck a call. I could be wrong but I believe that is what he told me.

 

Just put the adj. backrest on with a sundowner. The thing is huge. Non adj. on /off with just 2 nuts. might be the way to go.
