CC Seats Removable Passenger Pad

CC Seats Removable Passenger Pad? Gel Inserts?
Anyone have on of their suction cup rear seat pads? I was considering getting a squareback or a fastback for my street glide but 99% of the time I ride solo. At the moment anyway I only take girls for short rides when it comes up in conversation. So I was thinking about getting a solo seat and then the passenger pad so I can have the clean fender look while riding solo.
So does anyone have them? How well do they work?
Also while I'm here what sort of comfort does the gel insert add in the solo seat?

When i got my C&C seat i ordered w/the passenger.Tryed it with the pass. but it put her right up on me.If you notice the fine print on the C&C site which i didnt,it says not for passengers. But for what you want it for it may do for those short rides. The problem is really with the solo since it sits back causing the pass seat to be too confining between the solo and sissybar.

They may have more than one kind. I have the 10in one and it has suction cups but also bolts on using the hole where the stock seat went. It works real good and only takes a couple minutes to put on. I haven't had anyone complain about the seat. I really don't see much difference than it or a two up seat. I would do the same thing again if I were buying again.

As for the gel, the consensus is unless you are going to be doing 500 mile rides consistently you might as well pass on the gel. Chuck @ C&C will tell you that himself.

This is my second one. The first one was 3 yrs old when I sold it and it still looked like new.
Bought the current one so I could have have the integrated yet still removable rider back rest. Great seats.

Thanks for the info primo. I was hoping they'd have some of the vinyl ostrich. I like the look but leather is a pain to maintain.
The website does say that the passenger pad isn't meant for an actual passenger, just for luggage. When I talk to them tomorrow I'll ask about it and see what's going down. Even though I hardly ever have passengers I don't want to screw myself out of the opportunity to take the occasional hot chick out so I might just go with their squareback or fastback if he doesn't recommend it for passengers.

I've given several people rides and it has always done the job. Not super comfy for an all day ride but for around town, a ride of an hour or less or a quick jaunt it works great.

I would say it's just as comfortable as the stock seat. Not much different in size if you get the 10in size. Chuck told me that most passenger prefer the 10in and never told me not for passenger to ride on. I think at one time they made a version that was only held on with suction cups. This one bolts on and has cups.
