arent the -99's the old style s/e slipons? I had mine dynoed with a set of the newer s/e's and it ran like a raped ape but it was too quiet . I just had em change em to 1.75 rush's and I could hear it .. I did change my map the other day to add some low end fuel . checked today 180 miles 39 mpg and i could do better im sure it was at 41/42.. (06 classic se air cleaner rush slipons) I heard good and bad about the true dual stuff. remember h/d designed these things to run mainly with a 2 into 1 and use the scavenging effect . The right side id primarily stupid and dont do squat it just makes the old school guys happy with 2 mufflers

thanks for all the replies. Here's a new one.... Just got back from a weekend trip and gas mileage has changed. When traveling about 55 - 60 mph I'm getting about 41 mpg. when blasting on the freeway around 80 mph, I'm getting around 35 - 36 mph. is this about right? I still don't feel the power/torque down in the lower rpm ranges when downshifting and passing someone, or taking off from a stop light.

Great information, I'm looking at doing a stage 1 (or 2 if I can talk the wife into the added expense). I would love to jump up to the 110 upgrade but time will tell. My questions is this. I bought the extended for my bike, if the dealership does the upgrade, does this effect the extended warranty at all?

Default Stage 1

Don't get me wrong I like true duals but they do kill the bottom end torque, been there with my 07 even with 26 g cams,I never had any luck with a PCIII and a dealer either.

Can you expand on your "avoid the dealerships" comment? I'm assuming they tune too lean?

Not lookin' for a tuner, just curious...

Dude do what I did and gut those CVO Touring mufflers and slap in a set of Fullsac baffles! The sound is indescribable!

The 110's have been having problems. I would do some more research on it before going that route. The 103 upgrade has been holding up much better.

It's best to wait for the warranty to expire before doing an upgrade as Moco may not honor the warranty.

It's always best to get someone like Hillside do your heads and advise you on the best way to go for an upgrade and avoid the dealers. You'll get a much better build that way.

JMHO but it is a shared opinion.

dealerships just charge a lot for the dyno. I was so frustrated with my generic map that was designed for my pipes and intake, but we know no two bikes are the same, so after two attempts at downloads for the PC, I ended up at the dealer. 4 hours later, I had a rocket.

If you have lost all your low end I'd put the stock head pipe back on and run the rest of the combination you have. If your low end improves your true dual head pipes are the problem. They seem to move torque away from the lower end and move it up into the mid range.
