Default loss of horse power

i have a 08 street glide (flhx) rineheart true dual exhaust stage one
when i ride for about an hour and downshift into any gear and open the throttle i only get about half the horsepower i should but it is only after the bike gets hot don't know why. it seems to be getting worse dealer has no idea. does anyone have any ideas

sure its not trying to seize up ? running way too hot ?

Sounds a bit like sumping. Or, bad coil?

after a few shifts it will run fine til i downshift again

Sumping is usually talking about too much oil in the crankcase. Oil pump issue.

Pull the plugs and check them for fouling. Also oil from the breather (check your air filter).

what do i do if its getting to hot. how do i fix it

You'd have to figure out why it was getting too hot, first. :-)

"Too hot" by itself is not a diagnosis, just a symptom.

Saw one that did the sumping thing but it was an older one with an oil tank... That doesnt mean the newer ones cant do it though.. As far as I know they looked it over ,drained the oil and changed the oil and it never did it again ?
