Default 8 days til my ride of a life time...need route info RT 20

Ill be heading out on July 1 for my "liberation" ride. I think i have everything i need but what i would like is some good input about RT 20 especialy from the mid west to the western zones...once i hit Illinios ill be detouring south to visit an old friend. And im all set on that route...but Rt 20 vrs Rt 90 thats the input im lookin for!.....speed limits, traffic, or anything else that maybe helpful....3500 miles is a long ride to be on a rt that suckkkkksssss.....lol

thanks!

Hey MachPilot, you'll have to look me up when you make it to Illinois. I'm about a mile from RT.20 and RT.59....................Bartlett,IL...........you 'll be heading right past.....
Rt.20 has way too many different speed limits. From 30mph to 55mph..........and everything in-between. Nice ride on a bike, though. You go through some small farm (hick) towns. Which direction are you headed.......east to west or west to east? Rt. 90 is actually Interstate 90.............. after you're away from Chicago the speed limit goes to 65mph........... if you're headed west that is......

Ride safe Brother. If you are in Oregon either way, let me know. I think you have my number.

Rte 20 is a good Sunday ride, 90 is a fast road. If you get sick of the interstate take a cruise on 20.
