Default Hello Road King--Goodbye Rocker C

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello all, thought I would never ride a "Bagger" but hey dont knock it till you try it,right? I finally pulled the trigger and bought an 09 Road King. After riding and really enjoying my Rocker C for about a year I made the switch and can honestly I wont go back to the soft tail unless maybe for a second bike just to ride for short trips. Always looked at Baggers as old geezer bikes, man was I surprised. Thing rides and handles like a dream. Got the cruise and ABS to go with it. Went in wanting a street glide but when all was said and done had to have "The King". I cant find enough excuses to get out on the road with that thing it is awesome. The wife is all over it too. Now we got a place to put our stuff when we go out of town and it also has the option to add the rear trunk and an additional luggage rack. I guess you guys can tell im stooked, so just wanted to give a shout out to all you touring guys and say hello to everyone as Im sure I will be checking out what you all have done to your bikes and probably asking a few questions now and then. I should been on one of these a long time ago. Later
Sonny T

Congrats on the new ride. I did close to the same thing as you. Started with a Softtail Standard and really liked it but quickly realized that I wanted something larger. Went for the StreetGlide and love it.

Hey Goodies,

Won't be long until he rides next to an Ultra screaming tunes into his ear, oh, but he can't really make it out except for the classic, "twing twing twang, twing twing twang, twing twing twang, twing twing twang", of ZZ Tops "Sharp Dressed Man" and he'll be looking at Ultra's. Me? A street glide looks to be in my future...

Good luck, nice bike.

Hey, don't let them tease ya about the tunes..

There are options:

Hehe...

Couple Rumble Roads, and a satellite radio, and you're good to go.
