Ever since my purchase of jacknife pegs they have been useless to me. At 5'7 they were a stretch to reach and the awkward angle had my feet sliding off. Tried a mod this morning that woked out great for me and thought I would share with other owners having the same problem.
Drilled and tapped the footpeg to accept 1/4" hex head bolt. Drill in the end where the peg makes contact with the floorboard bracket and acts as a stop. Tap and install a 1/4 x 1/2"
bolt (tighten all the way until head contacts peg). Gives the pegs just enough angle to be comfortable.
