On the tech forums you will find a video on how to adjust your clutch. I had the same problem you have and I watched the videos. It is very clear on how to do the adjustment. I hope this helps.

 

well thanks to all my HD brothers for lending and ear and giving support in my dilema. I finally got it this morning. Went back to the derby adjusted to 3/4 and re-adjusted cable. My problem I figured out was when adjusting cable, I was pulling too hard on cable when determining distance from ferule and perch. Which in turn gave me a too tight of a cable. Thanks again for everyones help. It also prevented me from asking for help from my brother who owns a kawasaki vulcan. He would of only said if bought the metric I would have gotten a hydraulic clutch that needs no adjustments.
