All things being equal, I'd rather not install the digital amp in the saddlebag. However, if the performance gain over the ARC 125.2 mini amp is substantial, I'd certainly have to reconsider it.

What is the difference, performance wise, between the ARC 125.2 mini and the digital amp? Is it a "wash"?

 

I think the mini is a better sounding amp than the XXD

 

I just found this thread today Firecap. What do I need to do to get the group buy price?

 

Is this still going on? Will the 6.5" adapters work w/the RG?

 

I will have to admit that arc audio has raised the bar with these new mini amps. That's what i install in my builds now and they sound great. I use the 125.4 mini running 4 5 1/4" alpine speakers (fairing and lowers) a tweeter pod and 2 7" alpine marines in the bags and this amp rocks it!!! I used to use the alpine 100.4 but not anymore!!!

 

My order has been placed with Wayne guys. Can't wait to get the equipment in and do the install. This has actually made me look at the things I can do on the bike myself. None of it seems as daunting thanks to this forum.

 

Received my little music box today.......Now if the damn bike would just show up!

Placed an order with Rideshack for a Hogtunes Tweeter Pod yesterday and it shipped today. It'll probably beat the group buy stuff I ordered. No updates on if that stuff has even shipped.

 

I orderd a set of speakers from Wayne and talked to him on the phone for about 25 min, Great guy and know's his stuff. Any way from looking at your post he told me that he does all his shipping on Monday's.

 

Thanks Cap. Maybe this week I'll get it. I know he's been busy with family matters.

Update: I received my Arc Group Buy items this morning (August 29). Too bad I have to work or I would get going on this. Thanks Firecap.
