My install is complete. 125 Arc Mini, 6.5 Biketronics w/rings up top, 5.25 Arcs in the lowers with polyfill, and Hogtunes tweeter pod. It'll make the ears ring. What a serious kick in the azz! If I didn't already have the Biketronics 6.5 speakers I would have gone with the Arc 6.5s and saved about 60 bucks. Firecap knows what he's doin and is a great technical advisor as well. I Didn't buy one piece of my sysytem from him and he still took a great deal of time with me to make sure I did everything correctly. I already had all of my stuff purchased when I discovered this forum and thread. Many thanks Wayne.

Does the extended buy include the digital amp?

 

Yes it does. The digital amp will fit in the fairing of the road glides, but not in the batwing. You would have to install the amp in a bag or a tourpack on the batwing bikes.

 

I am an absolute idiot when it comes to electronics. If you are saying that the 6.5 inch speakers will install into a 2009 Road Glide and that the amp is an easy add-on to the HK, I'm interested.

Which system would you recommend for a 2009 Road Glide, and how does this system compare to a Hog Tunes system? Also note that I am trying to move towards wearing ear plugs due to wind noise on the highway, so speaker volume is key here)

I just installed some ARC 5.25 speakers in the lower fairing and boy sound great it adds alot of depth and can really rock. Firecap501 was really fast with the shipping and I had a problem wiring them into the amp, so a quick call to firecap501 and he steered me in the right direction and even helped me tune the amp to the new 4 speaker system. This was an excellent upgrade if you have lower fairings and Firecap501 is the man to call!!!

 

Got my amp and 6.5 speakers installed last week. Can really tell the difference at highway speeds. Another satisified customer here!
