Wow, speed "mountains"! Glad your okay.

Another one to watch out for is dips in parking lots or driveways. My friend dumps his bike in my driveway while backing out slowly. He reached the concrete apron were it dips down for the rain water (road curb) and his back wheel was on the street, and the front wheel still on my driveway, and his feet couldn't touch either. Boom down he went.

Glad you are ok......glad your girl friend made it through ok.........Note to self watch them dang speed bumps.....

WOW !! Thanx for the heads-up. Glad to hear that you were okay and the bike sustained only slight damage. You didn't mention what speed you were going when you high-centered. Flakdog mentioned that he had enough momentum to get over the speed bumps. Was that your case? Again ... glad you're okay !!

Never had a problem with speed bumps. I'll think about your story everytime i encounter one now though.

Good caution to all. Hadn't really thought about that, and I've been over tons and tons of speed bumps. Thanks for the warning. I'll be especially careful in the future.
