Where did you get the Allen screws? I've looked everyplace I can think of locally and no one carries them. I guess I'll have to order online somewhere.

I can get chrome button head allen screws at Menards... But.... Thats not a ubolt ? Thats a cage (or facsimile there of) nut and an allen screw ?... I just went with the 3/8 pin in the front of the bags with a clip on it and im good to go.

Looks like that will work as a theft deterrant as well. Been reading about alot of bags dissapearing.

Those "U-Bolts" are actually called Tinnerman nuts.

Looks good.
Have the bags shifted all all? After a ride have you noticed the bags shifting?
The J-Nut sounds like a great idea. Just wondering if it ever slides at all on the bracket.
(also the threaded end goes away from the head of the bolt. Oposite side of where the bold protrudes into the bracket)
