Slash down. I believe the sound resonates off the ground for a better sound. I have Rush 2". JMUO.

Slashdown. The rust & grunge shows to easily in the slash up pipes IMHO.

slash up on Bub 7's .... but the chrome tips must be cleaned after each ride to keep them looking good

If you're looking for the muffler ends to follow the contour of the saddlebags get the slash-up...if it doesn't matter, get the slash down.
