This happened to me ONCE.
First thing...dry the connectors.
Second...Use electrical grease.
Third...Make sure you place the connectors in a way that the larger side of the connector is facing downward. That would drastically reduce the chances of water getting in there.
Get rid of the crappy PC and get a real tune . Your bike will run better. You will be able to get it wet(imagine that). And you will never have to worry about it letting you down. Wait till your 5hrs. away from anywhere and it fails-that sucks!
Maybe not the most ignorant but certainly one of the most ill informed statements made on this forum regarding tuning.
1) Everything will be fine.
2) Power Commander will be unusable, but bike will be fine.
3) Bike will be damaged requiring electrical repair.
Lesson learned.
Anyone want to speculate on what might happen?
You'll be fine...I had the same problem with mine one time...Pulled it let it dry and re-installed it except this time I added some die electric grease and installed it under the right side side cover. No more problems after that.
