Inner fairing swap 2hr labor
I asked the dealer today what they charge to swap the fairing if I go with a painted one. 2hrs. That seems like a good deal to me I think for that rate I will have them do it.Or am i thinking its more work than it realy is ?

What they are all saying above, if you haven't caught on yet is that 2 hrs labor for the switch out is a really good deal.
Yes you can do it yourself but at that price it's a real bargain.
Get it in writing and RUN, do not walk, before they change their minds at the dealer.

2 Hr is what they charged me. I was standing right there and it took him less than 2 Hr.I do believe that is by the book hourly rate.

I would likely pay the 2 hrs before I would do it myself

my damn local dealer want's 1.5 just to install a smart alarm II. I think your dealer is being quite reasonable, I agree with the others. I've looked at that job and for me would probably take all day.
