The sad part is the family he may have left behind or even how the other driver feels knowing he killed a human being. They all have to live their lives knowing this. Hopefully nobody else was injured.
Nobody wins here folks
RIP

If it were a cager who was drunk and entered the interstate ramp in the wrong direction and "killed" a biker coming the other way, we all would be up in arms over this. But it amazes me how so many are looking to soften this because the guy was on a bike (this time) instead.

He was a drunk driver and operating a motor vehicle and could have killed your kid, your wife or even YOU! Yea, R.I.P. and one less drunk on the roads...

Pretty much sums it up. My condolences to those he left behind, but he made the wrong choice and paid the price for it.

I've said it before, I'll say it again : The world has a way of taking out its own trash.

I will not ride with people that have been drinking, or want to stop for a "cool one" along the way. Years of picking up folks off the road working with local rescue squads cured me.

No the cage driver was NOT hurt!!!!!!!

The driver of the bike was married with 2 kids!!!! RIP

But I am a very light drinker and never get on my bike if I drink!!!

I used to several years ago date a gal that drank a lot and she would get behind the wheel anytime "IM NOT DRUNK"

Yes it was a matter of time before he killed someone else !!!!!!

It is just sad when people make stupid decisions that affect everybody around them.

Man, ya gotta be pretty drunk to being riding the wrong way on the interstate. How can someone even keep their bike upright being that drunk.

Exactly my sentiments. The rider's family should sue the bar owner for serving someone they know would be driving when they left the bar. I'm always astounded by the bar hopping biker mentality. I like a drink as much as anyone, but only when I'm NOT riding.

Default Because whern you are that wasted

Safety is the last thing on your mind.
This is when the bro's come into play and help if they are not also wasted.

Been there done that but I quit 30 years ago or I would no doubt be long dead.

My heart felt sympathy goes to the family and survivors
