+1 on the inner fairing brackets. Left one was broke on mine. Replaced and then reinforced both left and rights with $2 L brackets from Home Depot

I know this sounds stupid, but a couple weeks ago we chased a vibration for a couple hours over a three day period. Had the fairing off 3 times checking everything twice and could not find anything. You know what it ended up being? The push-button for the fuel door that replaces the lock. The last thing we checked. I finally took it out for a ride and just started grabbing everything in site. It was driving us nuts......Does it have the push button? Just checking!

My 08 had the same Vibration and I just put it back on the Dyno and got most of it out.. Still a little around 2000.

Nope still has the lock although that's one of the few things I haven't pushed on to try and isolate the vibration. It seems to be coming from down that way too....I was thinking under the switch cover somewhere but the fuel door is a direct line of site with that area as well. I will check it out when I am back home later this week.

Is this a known issue? Any thoughts? I've tried pushing on all of the plastic pieces as I ride to see if I can find it but so far no luck.
When you hear it again, hold your clutch lever and see if it goes away...I had a rattle noise and I tracked it down to the clutch pin rattling.....

Looks exactly like the ones on my '09 SG.......Then again after looking harder, it's not...I have the top, old style bracket...Guess I have to wait for them to break before getting the new and improved model!!!
