I put 16 apes on my 09 road king and the dealership gave me +10 clutch cable which seemed pretty long enough. well it lasted 1000 miles and the braides pulled out of the adjuster crimps. think the cable should be shorther. anyone remember what the put on the clutch. +6 or +8?

 

I have +8 on mine for the last 5yrs, no problems here.

I believe mine are plus 8 aswell.

 

I found a cat that sells 12," 14", 16" or 18" apes that are 1 1/4" OD (1" OD at riser and grips)...pre wired with chrome or black buttons...come with clutch cable, throttle cables, and all the brake lines in braided SS...plus the cruise buttons ....the 16" ones are going to run me $530 shipped!! Plus...the wires have the ends already installed...just pull the OEM wires from the plug...replace with these and bingo...instant apes!!
