Rain gear
#11
My wife has been wearing Nelson-Riggs rain gear. looks much like the harley set. cost 65 bucks. She has been very happy with them. Me i'm still occasionally putting on my frog toggs. Where we live in SE TX you dont have much time or many places to pull under to get your rain gear on, so i just leave it off and get wet normally we dry off in under an hour anyway!! LOL

I've tried a couple over the years. Got the Harley set thats orange and gray. This is top quality rain gear. Zips all the way up the pant legs and has velcro. Removables hood on the jacket. Just got back from a rainy ride to outer banks and again storms on the way home. This gear comes off and on easy, even quickly on the side of the road. Highly recommend.

soos, I have the HD Gore-Tex stuff and it works great. Can ride all day in the rain and not get a drop on you. Here are the part #'s...

I have Harley's Hi-Vis rain suit and highly recommend it.
It was pouring rain when I emerged from my tent at the Loudon Track yesterday morning. I slipped into the suit, rode up to Laconia, walked around for an hour in heavy rain, jumped back on the bike and rode back to VT thru more heavy rain. When I got home, the clothes I was wearing under the rain suit were still bone dry. Don't skimp on rain ware and buy the best you can afford.
Don't forget to treat yourself to a good pair of waterproof boots while you are at it. I picked up a pair of Danner Goretex boots from Cabela's that were on closeout and reduced 1/2 price.
