Default $110 tour pack on ebay? anyone have this??

I saw this on ebay. Cheap basic foriegn made tour pack. VIP brand I believe. I'm wondering if anyone's used one of these and can tell me if it's total crap or usefull. I'm just looking for extra space for trips that my wife goes camping with me. Thanks in advance.

Agreed...They are what they are...I bought one that was supposed to be black cherry, wasn't even close! If your budget is tight then I would say get the VIP, but personally I wasn't as happy with it as I thought I would be. Much smaller than I anticipated by looking at the photographs prior to purchase. I thought proportionatly it didn't fit with my bike ...Looked kinda goofy IMO. Used it for 1 season and bought a king tour pak this spring. I'm much happier with the king tour pak.

Thats what I was thinking. This would basicly be to get us through a couple of trips till I can afford the king pack. Hopefully they can't screw vivid black up too bad. I wouldn't need one if it was just me but when the ole lady goes we have alot more stuff. air mattress, bigger tent, etc... Will these bolt up to a detachable bracket?

Yes, no prob bolting it up to a detach...You will have to mark the holes on the bottom of the tour pack for drilling...Yeah my OL was the same needed more space...I have to admit it is pretty nice to have the extra space tho. Don't by the luggage rack if you do buy a pak I have one not in use I'll sell ya cheap.

If you search Mutazu you'll find many satisfied users, myself included. I also have an Ultra King Tour Pak that is mounted for two-up riding; the Mutazu's on a solo detachable rack. The Mutazu holds about 80-85% of what the King holds. The Mutazu is great for grabbing and throwing on the bike for running errands around town, and should work fine for two people traveling for a week or less. Main limiting factor of the Mutazu is putting heavy weight on a luggage rack.

Personally, none of the Touring bikes look better with a tour pak on them regardless of HD or aftermarket, so it's a utilitarian issue for me.

To bad they don't make one to fit the new Dyna Rigid rack! It could be a simple latch on system, as the seat is!

I purchased one of these Mutazu cases and their Vivid Black color matches the color of my '09 FLHX. I just got back from an overnight camping trip to Laconia. I was able to put my tent, sleeping bag and a few other things in the case and it worked great.
