Odd question but....

I've had the same question, odd or not. Here's why. If you have multiple bikes, having auto cancel on what and not others messes things up...
While you are riding the HD, if you accidentally push the button to cancel the signal, you often turn it back on. Not what you want.
If you are riding the non HD bike, you will sometimes forget to cancel the signal. Not what you want.
I think the self cancel HD signals are great and work extremely well. I wish all bikes had them. They don't, I've heard it's a patent thing. I want all my bikes to work as close to the same as possible, so I would prefer to turn off the cancel feature on the HD. Then I would always need to cancel signals on all my bikes, and consistency is more important than convenience for me.
