Out in California rented 2007 electraglide like mine , buddy wanted to try a street glide. (has a softail)...stock windshield on mine he had the little 5" one.
We swapped , I lasted 5 miles and wanted the electra back. my helmet straps beat the crap out of me..

This highly unscientific poll was a true success. 30 to 4 in favor of the wimpshield. Maybe we should try this in the Sportster section?......Me thinks the outcome might be a tad different.....

 

I'm only 30 and I don't think I could without a fairing/windshield anymore. I just installed the new Klock Werks 12" Flare windshield on my 09 RG. It actually is about 4 inchs shorter than stock but the airflow is 100 times better than stock. I'll post pictures of it when I get home.
