I'm sorry, Did'nt mean to hi-jack this thread. but there are some youngsers that are replying too me. CWDoc115. Did ever have to pour oil into you gas tank on a Harley 125, I did. How old are you?
Lord Almighty, part of the fun, challange, experience, thrill of riding is changing gears; being in charge so to speak. We all know that automatics are coming, they have to, in order to get more people involved in motorcycles, got to keep the sales up, you know. That may be a good thing, but for the time being give me six speeds, a clutch and a throttle.
I would love one on my ultra.I get tired of holding in the clutch lever sitting at redlights.I never thought i would like cruise control but i do.Some guys would say if you want all that crap just drive a car.I disagree.
I like being the one to decide when the shift should happen. Sometimes I like to do it low and sometimes I like to do it high and sometimes I just like to run it up and back off. That's for me, so I can hear my pipes talking to me. So, NO, I don't care for an automatic.
this morning when i woke up i looked down and saw that i still had *****....
why ride?
Because some people are unable to shift at times...due to injury, arthritis, or just want the convenience of not dealing with a clutch!
*****? What the heck do ***** have to do with putting your ride in the wind and enjoying yourself?? Two wheels, a good engine and the sheer thrill of being in the wind is all you need!
Have you forgotten we're all brothers and sister on two wheels and it's for the enjoyment?
