yea I've seen those, but you still need to cut and weld... if you go try to sell your bike down the road, that might work against you for cutting into the frame.. JMHO
The kit is sharp!! I still haven't seen it in person but been talking to Eric and Zack from Ness and from what I hear it's the PERFERCT solution, kit retails for $2300 plus $100 for the new fairing bracket that has been modified to correct the angle on the fairing.
Average rake cost from Shoppe & Yaffe is around $3000 to $3500 so is definatelly cheaper and easir to do, and if you get tired of it or want to go back to stock it's as simple as changing out the trees.

Pork Chop,
It was a cut off, re-weld kit that allows you a solid shaft that slides back into your frame for stability and also had a window for your VIN to be visible after install.
The rake kit in the triple trees sounds good, whats the cost on it?
Your tail section looks good too.. I went this route, now thinking of RE-doing for biketoberfest just for something to do.. That's me in daytona beside my buddy's custom 98 ultra classic

I went with a RWD front fender, and I am going to install a set of Tri Glide trees as soon as they show up. I didnt want to cut the frame an a new bike and the tri glide trees are about $400 retail so that is what I am going to try. Hopefully they will show up this week so maybe I can put it together this weekend!
