If you have a painted inner fairing and a stock paint job, Fat Baggers Inc. has painted fairing mirrors. Otherwise, you could take them to a painter to get painted.

I love the look of the inside fairing mirrors. Wondering about their functionality for sight lines. I installed the traditional extra-long stemmed mirrors to get the sight line around my shoulders and don't like the look so much, but they do work well. Do the inside mirrors clear your shoulders in their sight line?

I rode one ultra with them and they were pure ****, pardon my french. I couldn't see anything behind me. they looked cool but were totally worthless. In fact if I had purchased that bike I was figuring the price of a new inner fairing (without holes) and the price of standard mirrors. Ultimately it was one of the deciding factors in my not purchasing the bike.

i've got an 08 streetglide, and it has the fairing mirrors. not as good as regular stalk type mirrors, but i got used to mine. just that you can't see as much behind you as you would with regular mirrors. the front of the fairing is easy to remove and reinstall, be careful not to drop or scratch it. there are some screws that would be hidden if you don't have the service manual though. heck spring the bux for the manual if you don't have it. you'll need it anyway.

I have a set that I took off my StreetGlide when I painted the inner fairing. They are in great shape, no scratches. If you are interested in them, $40, you pay shipping. I don't have the drill template, you may be able to get that from the dealer.
