Never hear anyone speak about porting and polishing heads. Whats the deal?

lemme get this thought straight. you want to find a set of heads so you can practice? i got two words to say about that. "why?" spend the dough for branch flowmetrics, headquarters, or the self proclaimed guru who writes for american iron. surely don't wanna take your heads to hillbilly bobs down the street for his magic. i've seen a lot of that work in years past, and it's pretty scarey.
If the work is to be done to gain experience, I say get a set of heads and go for it. If the work is to be done just for more power and exprience isn't really an issue, I say let one of the experts handle the job.

Speak to Don from Dewey's Heads. He's a real great guy to deal with.

I have used HeadQuarters for head work in the past and I am looking forward to using them again.
The reason I think that you don't see much on P&P heads is that most people are just going to there local dealer and getting screwed with the stock 103 upgrades and don't know the differance, there are very few dealers that are interested in giving there customer what they really want but instead giving there customers what they make the most on.
