Brake/Clutch Cable Length?
I'm thinking of going with a 12" Flyin Ape on the RG. Does anyone have an idea how much extra line length I would need? I was thinking around 4" with the increase in rise being 4" but I'm not sure.

When I installed 13" CycleSmiths on my Classic, I added 7" to throttle and 7" to Clutch. Should of gone with 8" on Clutch. As for the Brake hoses, I used a two piece set form manufacture unknown along with length unknown......

Sounds like I need to go with at least a 6" then. I'm not sure if there is much issue with a little extra cable length.

Thanks. Sounds like +6" cable and +8" wiring should work for a 12" ape.
