Mustang Seat for an 06 FLHR
I just purchased and returned a Sundowner and Backrest for my 06 FLHR - the seat was too wide and worst is the back rest move me up a lot. I heard about bending the brackets in a vice, but IMO that is BS when you lay down $600.00 on new Harley stuff, plus if you bend stuff to make it fit, the dealer will not take it back!
In any case, I have the stock black stud seat on my 06 FLHR. Has anybody used the Mustang 79102 "15" Studded Solo With Driver Backrest Only"

Do you know if this Mustang Seat will fit with the stock passenger seat and backrest? Mustang says it will not (need to by theirs) but others have told me it will work, just a little tight fit. That would save me a few hundred bucks! So I really would appreciate you experiences!
Thanks

Not With the Mustand Backrest
I have an '07 FLHR with a 79102 Mustang solo seat/driver's backrest. After work today I dug out the stock passenger seat and tried it. It fits without the driver backrest, but with the backreat installed, there's not enough room for the passenger section to engage the seat lugs.
