Has anyone tried to install a 200mm tire on a 09 SG? Will it fit without any mods? Looks to me to be plenty of room. Is there a 200mm avalible for a 16inch wheel? Thanks in advance.

 

It will on a 17" X 6.25" wheel. I just ordered a set of wheels from Hogpro yesterday, I went with a set of Deviate's 18" X 3.5" with a 140 Metz in front and a 17" X 6.25" with a 200 Metz out back. If your in the market for wheels, I'd recommend Phil at Hogpro, he'll hook you up........Rich

 

Did a 200 on my 09 SG. Its fat and tight but so far no problems or rubs. Rim is 17 x 6.25 wide. Tire is Avon Cobra 200/55/17. Avon has higher load rating than Metzler.

18 x 5.5 w/200 in back.....

 

I am having a set of Rocklins put on today. They are the new wheel from renegade. 21x3.25 on front and 18x5.5 on rear with a 200mm tire. When I get it done I will post some pics in the gallery. I dont know how to do it here

Thanks for the info guys. Nice bikes! I just put the 9 spoke HD 16inch rear wheel on and was woundering if anyone makes a 200mm for it. You guys can put pics up when you reply with the "additional options" below "reply to thread".

 

Hey there HD REBEL, in the past I didn't care for that wheel when HD threw them on the CVO Ultra from a couple years back. I recently saw them available for the '09's while looking for wheel options for my police bike. The 17" proportions somehow make it look a hell of a lot nicer. And the price is actually, dare I say, reasonable. My police bike is the lower-buck project of the bikes and you've prompted me to take a closer look again.

Any chance I could coax you into taking a couple more pics like a dead even profile shot and one a little more close up? If so, cool and thanks!
