EG, adjusting passing lamps, help!
I have an 06 EG standard. I need to adjust the passing lamps ( I don't think the MOCO or dealer adjust these at all, just slap them on). I have a service manual and it sounds very simple.
Remove the turn signal indicators by removing two screws each. Under the passing lamp in a nut. Loosen the nut, adjust the lamp, tighten the nut, and replace the turn signal.
Simple enough.
Problem is getting to the two alen head screws that hold the turn signal on. I have attempted this twice and quit. My guess is about an hour each side to remove the turn signals, then an hour each side to put them back on. There is very little room to turn the alen wrench. Very tiny little turns at a time. I just don't have the patience.
I know there is a better way, any ideas or experiences would be appreciated
Thanks for your time,
Doug

I took a 9/16 deep socket and cut down the length of the socket so
the socket can slip the wire in and out the bottom. Then I use vise grip
and clamp on to the socket works great for me.
