No need to remove the lamps.........Grab the turn signal and turn the whole thing about a 1/4 turn and the lamp is loose enough to move. You will have to bang on the lamp a bit with your hand but it works.

What I was gonna say. For minor adjustments most experienced techs do the adjustment by firmly holding the passing lamp & the turn signal and gently turning, pushing or pulling until the light is in the appropriate position.
