Easy CD-DA Extractor

Best and easiest to use program hands down. Been using it for years. All I do is rip my CD's to mp4 for my Nano then convert them all to mp3 and keep them in a different folder. Have two different versions for all needs.

There are several programs that allow you to convert mp4 to mp3. Just do a google search. As far as iTunes goes, you can convert the iTunes plus (no drm) without too much trouble. They are m4a format. The regular iTunes songs are formatted m4p.

if you like ez cd-da then you should take a look at exact audio copy. its still a beta version, but has been out for several years now and regularly updated. no documentation comes with it, but there are several tutorials on how to configure it to make super high quality mp3s.

best part, its free.

this is just fyi, it doesn't help the op who doesn't have the original cd version, just the itunes digital version.....

I will check it out. I love EZ but have always been too cheap to just buy the damn thing. I keep using the trial version.
